The blogs I love

A Design so Vast
just beautiful writing.  goodness.  its beautiful.  Lindsey is a mom of two and a writes from the heart in every post.  I think her writing style and perspective is inspiring.

The Big White Farmhouse
Ashley is a wife and mom of four that lives gracefully and with focus.  She runs The Penpal Project and is dedicated to giving back and kindness.  I am so glad that we have become friends via the blog and instagram.

Craft Hope
Combining crafting with doing good; this is a regular dose of inspiration. This literally may be the last kick in the behind that I need to learn how to sew - just so that I can be a part of these amazing projects.

The Cunningham family in Bush Alaska
Shelly eloquently and honestly recounts how she and her family (three sons and her husband) spend nine months out of the year in bush Alaska as her husband teaches in the local school.  Her daily life is so different than mine and yet so similar because she is just a mom trying to get through the days with grace and patience.  I am glad that the internet somehow brought us together to be 'blog friends.'

Diapers & Daisies
Sarah and I became blog friends after we wrote similar lists about our kids (her's about her daughter).  She is an honest writer and loves her babies.

I adore Inspiration
written by my friend and Teach for America alum, Stephanie (aka Stevie) who is the perfect blend of boho chic, glitter, and kindergarten teacher.  If pinterest is too overwhelming - check her out...her blog is like a mini dose of beautifulness a day.

My world-traveling cousins who used to live in Hawaii, have traveled all across Europe, frequent the west coast, and try to get in as much exploring and adventures as possible.

written by my friend Melodye who paints, sings, cooks, prays, makes the most beautiful handmade jewelry, and is both a mother and wife.  Oh and did I mention that she does all of this while battling MS?  yea, what did you do today?

They are adorably geeky, awesomely motivated, and have the most easy to use website if you're looking to do some re-decorating or construction in your home.  check out their "Projects" tab to see incredible how-to's.
